Our number one priority is the safety of our staff and customers. So, we’ve put some new ‘house rules’ in place to ensure you’re the safest you can be when visiting us
We take bookings through our website we will also keep a few tables back for walk ins and drinkers, but would really like to encourage you to book as this stores your details for track and trace. The maximum table size is 6, If you see others that you know at the pub it is very important that you do not mix with them
The bar will be closed we we will be operating order by app QTap – please download it now, the first time you register it stores your details and makes it much simpler to use each time, this stores your details for track and trace and also reduces contact as much as possible
Tables outside will be bookable for food or just drinks and also have lots available for walk ins. You can only order and pay by Qtap app to your table.
Everything you need to know
Everyone must wear a face covering except for when you are seated.
Whilst we get back on our feet we’ll be limiting our opening hours and closing on a Monday. We’ll also have a smaller menu to help our kitchen teams maintain social distancing, which may also mean there is a delay in food or drinks arriving to you.
We will be placing all food and drinks down at the end of your table for you to collect yourselves. We request that when you finish you drinks and food you place and empties at the end of your table for collection too. Our website is taking bookings now. As we’ll have a limit on the number of people we can safely let into the pub we’d strongly encourage you to book your table in advance for food or drinks.
The maximum table size for a booking is 6 and these can now be from any number of households
We will be accepting payments by QTap app or contactless only for now
Our Colman Room is always open for extra socially distant dining and drinking
Toilet access from the beer garden will be round the back of the pub in the back door by the toilets
If you do book a table outside and the weather is bad, there may not be space inside to accommodate you. Please do bear with us. Every step of the way – we will be trying our absolute best to get everything right and give you the service you deserve. But, there will be delays and mistakes along the way. Every day we will be re assessing to see what we can improve on. Our team have really missed you and they’ll be on hand to ensure that your safety is their number one priority. We’re working hard to ensure you get the same service you know and love but we recognise that the world has changed since we last saw you.
Please enjoy yourselves, eat, drink and be merry, there is so much fun and happiness to catch up on.
See you soon x
